Job Description

basic knowledge of P&ID, heat exchangers, pumps, motors, piping layouts and supports
Knowledge of ASMEB 31
1, TEMA, API610, Valves-globe, gate, motorised, control
Knowledge of Auto Cad and solid edge and other 2D and 3D software like open plant, PDMS
Knowledge of lube oil systems gland steam systems, experience of working in SAP and other PLM software
Has the ability to create 2D drawings from 3D layouts and carry out clash analysis in case of piping from several systems
The incumbent should be skillful in carrying out testing and validation of the systems and ensuring soundness based on best design practices adopted by OEM, He should have knowledge of flushing and should have appreciation of achieving the criteria by ensuring NAS levels as informed by the OEM
The engineer shall take care of the standardisation of layouts for different projects
