Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 3–7 years’ experience in structural steel detailing & fabrication drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Tekla / Bocad (certification preferred).
• Knowledge of IS codes, welding symbols, bolted/welded connections.
• Understanding of fabrication processes, tolerances & BOM preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare fabrication, assembly & erection drawings from GA/design inputs.
• Develop BOM, cutting plans & material lists for procurement.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, fabrication-friendly & compliant with codes.
• Coordinate with Design Head & production teams for approvals/clarifications.
• Maintain revision control & documentation.

Key Skills:

• Strong drafting & detailing skills with accuracy.
• Ability to visualize 3D structures from 2D drawings.
• Good communication & problem-solving ability.

Deliverables:

• Shop-ready error-free drawings.
• Optimized BOM & cutting plans.
• Timely release of drawings to match production schedules.
