Description
As an Electrical Engineer specialized in solar PV system design, your role will involve preparing AutoCAD project layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and preliminary design packages. You will be responsible for conducting project optimization analysis, adjusting design parameters and major equipment to determine the optimal project layout. Your duties will also include reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and necessary documentation for project execution. Additionally, you will generate Bill of Materials (BOM) along with detailed technical specifications and assist in RFP responses/bids for the Client by collaborating closely with the GM and Director. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare AutoCAD project layouts, SLDs, and preliminary design packages - Conduct project optimization analysis and adjust design parameters - Review engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation - Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) with technical specifications - Assist in RFP responses/bids for the Client Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field - 3+ years of experience in solar PV system design and electrical engineering - Proficiency in AutoCAD, PV Syst, Sketchup, MS Office, and other relevant software - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication - Familiarity with local electrical codes, regulations, and permitting requirements You should demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical principles, PV system components, and design fundamentals. It is essential to ensure that designs comply with all applicable codes, standards, and permitting requirements. The desired key skills for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD, PV Syst, Sketchup, MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and other relevant software. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, and provident fund. The work location is in person.
