Job Description

Strong proficiency in
CATIA (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, Sheet Metal)
Good knowledge of
machine design principles and heavy engineering concepts
Hands-on experience in
SPM and sheet metal design
Understanding of
manufacturing processes
(machining, fabrication, welding, bending, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret
engineering drawings and GD&T
Basic knowledge of
BOM preparation and design calculations
Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Role & responsibilities

Design and develop
mechanical components, assemblies, and systems
using
CATIA
Prepare
2D drawings, 3D models, GA drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings
Work on
SPM, heavy machinery, machine tools, and sheet metal components
Perform
concept design, detailing, and design validation
Select appropriate
materials, standard components, and manufacturing processes
Ensure designs comply with
engineering standards, safety norms, and quality requirements
Coordinate with
manufacturing, assembly, and procurement teams
to resolve design-related issues
Support
prototype development, testing, and design modifications
Maintain proper
design documentation and revision control
