Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Design electrical panels, including electricity distribution, control circuits, and instrumentation. Conduct site visits to inspect installed panels and provide technical support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements. Develop single-line diagrams (SLD) for electrical systems. Create panel layouts using AutoCAD software. Study and evaluating the customer requirements / RF and advising sales / Marketing for bidding. Participate in Contract Review of various projects / jobs. Study and understand customer documents like P & ID, cable schedule, hook-up drawing, Cause & effect, operation philosophy etc. Preparing panel specification, instrument & equipment selection and specification / data sheets etc. Electrical equipment selection, protection and circuit design of electrical motors, LT switch gear LT MCC, PCC, PDB etc. including preparing drawings Hardware Design of control panels including preparation of General arrangement drawings (GADs), detailed Bill of material (BOM) based on customer drawing and specification Design of power distribution system and preparation of Power distribution drawings. Software design of panels including preparation of I/O list, logic diagram, graphics, serial interface definition etc. Based on Siemens / Allen Bradley / Schneider make PLCs Candidate profile 1. Experience of Engineering Instrumentation and Electrical control panels including preparing general arrangement drawings (GADs), Bill of material (BOM), preparing specifications and data sheets, panel wiring diagrams etc. 2. Experience with Hardware and Software engineering and configuration of Siemens or Allen Bradley or Schneider make PLCs including developing configuration diagrams, hardware & software, selection, preparing I/O list, logic diagram, graphics etc. 3. Understanding of customer specifications and requirements, P&ID, cable schedule, hook-up drawing, cause & effect diagram, operation philosophy etc. 4. Design and Engineering of Electrical LT Panels, including preparing electrical equipment specification / selection, electrical protection circuit design of electrical motors, LT switch gear etc. 5. Well acquainted and having hands-on experience of working with Engineering Design software like AutoCAD, E-plan and other similar programs. 6. Should have knowledge of various national & international control panel related electrical standards. 7. Having sound knowledge of Instrument and electrical into Hazardous area
