Job Description

Role & responsibilities The Section Head Design Electrical is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and integration of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems for shipbuilding projects. This role ensures that all electrical systems meet technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, covering essential systems like power distribution, navigation, communication, and automation. The Section Head collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant systems that are optimized for shipyard and operational needs, while also supporting production processes and addressing any engineering challenges. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field. Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or specialized maritime studies is preferred for advanced technical and industry expertise. Professional certifications in marine electrical engineering or related fields (e.g., Chartered Engineer status) are advantageous. Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are advantageous.
