Domain Experience

Automotive industry with exposure to one or more of the following:

• Seating systems
• Plastics
• Sheet metal tooling
• BIW (Body in White)
• Underbody components

Software Skills

• CATIA V5 (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on experience in

  CATIA V5

  for

  3D modeling and 2D drawings

• Good knowledge of GD&T

  , functional drawings, and tolerances
• Experience in

  part modeling

  ,

  stamping part design

  , and

  sheet metal components

• Understanding of vehicle/part mounting

  ,

  car siting

  , and

  part fitment

• Ability to perform deep design analysis

  and support design optimization
• Coordination with

  cross-functional teams

  , customers, and vendors
• Handling design projects end-to-end, including customer requirements and timelines
• Review and validation of designs as per automotive standards
• Support vendor development and technical discussions
