Dermatology Pharmacist & PRO

Role Summary
We seek a dynamic Dermatology Pharmacist & Public Relations Executive to elevate patient care and amplify our brand. This hybrid role merges clinical expertise in medication management with strategic PR leadership. You’ll ensure optimal treatment outcomes through precise pharmaceutical guidance while crafting compelling narratives that position Rootwise Aesthetics as Coimbatore’s trusted aesthetic authority. Ideal candidates possess deep skin/hair care knowledge, a pharmacist license, and PR prowess.

Key Responsibilities
Pharmacist Duties (Clinical Excellence):

• Verify dermatologic medication orders (acne, psoriasis, hair loss) for safety/efficacy.
• Counsel patients on topical/oral/biologic therapies (usage, side effects, interactions).
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical-grade skincare/haircare products.
• Compound specialized dermatologic formulations (adhering to sterile standards).
• Educate clinical staff on product ingredients (e.g., Tretinoin, Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid).
• Stay updated on dermatology research and innovations.

Public Relations Duties (Brand Leadership):

• Develop PR campaigns highlighting Rootwise’s expertise and "care-first" philosophy.
• Forge media/influencer relationships in healthcare/beauty sectors.
• Craft press releases, articles, and crisis communications rooted in scientific accuracy.
• Monitor public sentiment and align PR with marketing/social strategies.
• Drive community engagement and CSR initiatives reflecting clinic values.

Required Qualifications
Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s/Pharm.D. from an accredited institution.
• Valid Indian Pharmacist license (eligible for Tamil Nadu practice).
• Certification in PR/Communications (or demonstrable expertise).

Experience:

• 3–5 years as a licensed Pharmacist (dermatology/hospital pharmacy preferred).
• 3–5 years in PR/Communications (healthcare/beauty/wellness industry).

Technical Knowledge:

• Skincare: Mechanisms of Tretinoin, Niacinamide, Ceramides, Peptides, Probiotics.
• Haircare: DHT-blockers (Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin Seed), proteins, humectants.
• Distinction between pharmaceutical-grade vs. cosmetic-grade ingredients.
• Ability to interpret clinical studies on product efficacy/safety.

Skills:

• Translate complex science into patient/media-friendly language.
• Crisis management, strategic communication planning, and media monitoring.
• Proficiency in social media for PR and collaborative teamwork.
• Fluency in Tamil and English (local patient engagement).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s in PR/Communications.
• Experience compounding dermatologic formulations.
• Established media contacts in healthcare/beauty.
• Patient education program development.
