Deputy Manager/Manager - Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer & Quality Management professional, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data platforms and pipelines to enable data access and aggregation functionalities in a cloud environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing data warehouse and BI platforms, including architecture, prototyping, and development of data extract, transformation, cleansing, and integration of both structured and unstructured data. - Transforming raw data into valuable insights using Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), and visualization tools. - Providing technical expertise to create efficient solutions for consolidating data from various data systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, object storage, Enterprise Applications, and 3rd party APIs. - Developing optimal designs for data warehouse environments, analyzing complex distributed data deployments, and making recommendations to enhance performance. - Designing and implementing database and application interfaces between internal and external systems to capture and integrate data efficiently. - Organizing, optimizing, and debugging data-driven reporting, BI, and analytics applications. - Documenting and maintaining a data dictionary for data from different sources to facilitate data democratization. - Collaborating with business stakeholders to address their data requirements and assisting technical teams in replicating data from various sources. Your competency requirements for this role include: Technical/Functional: - Hands-on experience in data architecture, design, and development of data warehousing solutions. - Proficiency in programming with Python. - Extensive technical expertise in SQL on relational database management systems (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), data warehouse schema definitions (Snowflake), data modeling, security, and design. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data for designing and delivering meaningful solutions. - Experience in implementing Reporting, BI, Visualization, and Analytics tools like Power BI, AWS QuickSight, and Cognos. - Good understanding of database performance and tuning, troubleshooting, query optimization, and tuning. - Knowledge of next-generation ETL/ELT tools and data consolidation frameworks that enhance capabilities within the data ecosystem. - Ability to work independently or within a team, proactively, in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment. Educational Qualification: - B.E / B.
