Deputy Manager/Manager - Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer & Quality Management professional, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data platforms and pipelines in a cloud environment to facilitate data access and aggregation for users. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing a data warehouse and BI platform, encompassing the architecture, prototyping, and development of data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and integration of structured and unstructured data. - Transforming raw data into valuable insights using Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), and visualization tools. - Providing technical expertise to design efficient solutions for consolidating data from various data systems such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, object storage, Enterprise Applications, and 3rd party APIs. - Developing optimal designs for data warehouse environments, analyzing complex distributed data deployments, and offering recommendations to enhance performance. - Designing and developing database and application interfaces between internal and external systems to capture and integrate data efficiently. - Organizing, optimizing, and debugging data-driven reporting, BI, and analytics applications. - Documenting and maintaining a data dictionary for data from various sources to enable data democratization and collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to fulfill their data requirements. In terms of competency requirements, you should possess the following skills: - Hands-on experience in data architecture, design, and development of data warehousing solutions. - Proficiency in programming with Python and extensive technical knowledge of SQL on RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL), data warehouse schema definitions (Snowflake), data modeling, security, and design. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data for designing and delivering meaningful solutions. - Experience in implementing Reporting, BI, Visualization, and Analytics tools such as Power BI, AWS QuickSight, or Cognos. - Good understanding of database performance, tuning, troubleshooting, query optimization, and tuning. - Knowledge of next-generation ETL/ELT tools and data consolidation frameworks that enhance capabilities within the data ecosystem. - Ability to work independently or within a team, proactively, in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment. For educational qualifications, a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT is required.,
