Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for site operations.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely deliveries and quality standards.

Logistics & Transportation

Plan and manage the transportation of industrial waste, recyclables, and other materials.
Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to optimize routes, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Inventory & Material Management

Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to support uninterrupted operations.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and documentation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and company policies for handling industrial waste.
Prepare periodic SCM reports, including procurement, inventory, and logistics performance metrics.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.

Team Leadership & Coordination

Supervise SCM staff and coordinate with operations, finance, and project teams.
Drive process improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of
supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
.
Understanding of
industrial waste handling, environmental regulations, and hazardous material management
.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in
ERP systems, MS Excel, and SCM software
.
Leadership skills with ability to manage vendors and site teams effectively.
