Deputy Manager- SCM Lead IT

The SCM Lead IT will be responsible for driving technology-driven initiatives within the Supply Chain function, focusing on planning, procurement, process excellence, and system optimization. The role requires strong expertise in SCM planning tools, SAP MM, and SAP Ariba modules to ensure seamless integration, improved process efficiency, and enhanced decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

SCM Planning

• Manage end-to-end planning systems including S&OP, Demand, Supply, Production, and Procurement planning.
• Optimize production and distribution planning using tools such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or similar solutions.
  

SAP MM & ERP Integration

• Possess solid knowledge of SAP MM processes related to procurement and material management.
• Act as the Functional Lead for SAP MM initiatives and ensure partner teams deliver solutions with the right design, approach, and best practices.
  

SAP Ariba Modules

• Lead the adoption, implementation, and stabilization of Ariba modules including Sourcing, Buying & Invoicing, Contract Management, and Supplier Lifecycle Management.
• Drive automation for contract creation, approval workflows, and compliance monitoring.
  

Process Improvement & Digitization

• Lead digital transformation initiatives including RPA, automated dashboards, and KPI frameworks to reduce manual interventions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and standardization in SCM processes.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of SCM planning systems, processes, and methodologies.
  
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM and SAP Ariba modules.
  
• Good knowledge of procurement workflows and related IT interventions.
  
• 68 years of experience in SCM and IT integration roles.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
  
• Ability to manage and escalate projects effectively.
  
• Good understanding of Supply Chain KPIs and their utilization to improve performance metrics, preferably within the Food FMCG industry.
  
• Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively with functional stakeholders.
  

Education

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• BE / B.Tech preferred.
  
• Relevant certifications in SCM, SAP, or related areas will be an added advantage.
