Role Purpose

- Responsible for supplier technical development.

- New product introduction, cost optimization, and quality assurance for automotive seating and comfort systems.

- The role acts as a technical interface between suppliers, Purchase, R&D ENGG, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

- Starting from Source identification to PPAP & PSW sign off .

Product / System Coverage

• Power Seats (complete systems and sub-assemblies)- Motors + Switches
• Seat Recliners + Track ( power)
• Seat Height Adjusters ( power)
• Power Headrests
• Second Row Armrests with TAB
• Seat Massage Systems (massager integrated with TAB / controller)
• Seat Blowers and Cooling Systems
• Seat ECUs / controllers, actuators, motors, gearboxes, switches
• Wiring harnesses, switches, sensors, and electro-mechanical assemblies

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential supplier , Audit supplier with CFT , sign of SOR ,Develop and technically qualify suppliers for seating and comfort systems.
• Responsible for new part and new product development including design reviews, trials, and validations DV & PV.
• Responsible for APQP, PPAP, PSW ,supplier audits, and corrective action closures.
• Drive supplier process improvements, quality assurance, and manufacturing robustness.
• Lead VA/VE and cost reduction initiatives with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Purchase, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program teams.
• Work with suppliers supporting OEM platforms.

Desired Candidate Profile

• BE / BTech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• 10- 18 years experience in supplier technical development or NPD .
• Strong exposure to automotive seating systems and comfort features.
