Deputy Manager/ Manager-Contract Manufacturing

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Industry: Pesticide Technical & Formulation Manufacturing

Qualification: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (preferred)

Experience: 8-15 years of hands-on experience in production operations, contract manufacturing, and outsourcing activities in the pesticide or fine chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard contract manufacturing partners and job work units across India.
• Utilize existing industry contacts to quickly locate suitable facilities for immediate manufacturing needs.
• Coordinate with production, quality, supply chain, and regulatory teams for smooth outsourcing execution.
• Oversee manufacturing planning, process monitoring, and cost control at third-party sites.
• Ensure timely production, dispatch, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Conduct technical audits, process evaluations, and vendor capability assessments.
• Manage commercial negotiations with external manufacturers.
• Support technology transfer and process optimization activities.
• Maintain proper documentation for agreements, compliance, and operational records.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of pesticide / agrochemical production processes.
• Well-connected in the industry with awareness of available contract manufacturing units.
• Excellent coordination, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory, EHS, and quality standards in pesticide manufacturing.
• Ability to handle multiple partners and ensure on-time, compliant production.

Candidate Profile:

• B.Tech (Chemical Engineering) with hands-on production and outsourcing experience in pesticides or fine chemicals.
• Strong market awareness and established network of third-party manufacturers.
• Proactive, technically sound, and capable of managing end-to-end contract manufacturing operations.
