Deputy Manager Human Resources

Role Overview: As Deputy Manager/ Manager HR in the HR department based in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in various HR functions, including recruitment support, employee on-boarding, and other HR related tasks. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting recruitment processes, facilitating new employee on-boarding, maintaining employee records, team management, and handling other HR interim projects. Key Responsibilities: - Support in Recruitment Process: - Support in coordination of Faculty, Teaching Fellow and Post-Doctoral Fellow recruitment process. - Coordinating and reporting progress during different stages of recruitment. - Prepare and maintain data the recruitment tracker and provide recommendations to ensure smooth flow of recruitment process. - Employee On-boarding: - Facilitating new comers joining formalities. - Ensuring collection of all relevant HR documents / certificates for new joinees. - Organize HR Induction and Orientation for new employees. - Provide standard training and guidance on HRMS application. - Maintain employee records as per the provided formats. - Other HR Related Tasks: - Support in coordination and maintenance of employee medical insurance data. - Maintain accurate data in HRMS and physical files. - Team Management to ensure team performance meets department needs. - Support in other HR interim projects. - Preparation of internal and employee-related letters. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree or equivalent from a premier institution. - 8-10 years of relevant experience in HR. Additional Details: The salary for this full-time position will be as per Institution standard. You will report to the Senior Manager - HR and will need to possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, advanced Excel proficiency, strong data skills, and excellent writing and presentation skills to excel in this role.,
