Deputy Manager - EHS

Role & responsibilities

1) Ensure overall EHS compliance of the site and smooth implementation of EHS policy & Objectives.

2) Preparation of Risk assessment for the activities of the entire site and implement risk mitigation measures.

3) Maintain good relationship with all stake holders for the implementation of EHS aspects.

4) Ensure work permit system is implemented in the site and its compliance.

5) Preparation/update and Ensure implementation of EHS SOPs and Maintain their formats and in line with the GMP requirements of the site.

6) Responsible for the maintain sufficient stock of PPE all the time.

7) Responsible for wastewater collection and disposal to the CETP through online manifest system.

8) Responsible for hazardous waste and Bio waste collection and disposal to the authorized parties.

9) Responsible for the environmental monitoring from the outside authorized party.

10) Responsible for data preparation and submission of all statutory periodical returns.

11) Responsible for preparation of daily, monthly and yearly reports on site EHS performance. 12) Responsible for the upkeeping of all safety and emergency equipments or items like eye wash and body wash, first aid boxes, fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment, fire alarm system, sand buckets, fire blankets, windsocks, spill kits, all safety labels.

13) Responsible for the imparting trainings of ERT members, Staff and contract work men and for conducting periodical mock drills.

14) Conducting safety committee meetings and recording minutes.

15) Carry out safety inspections and safety audits and to ensure compliance.

16) Other works assigned by HOD time to time.
