Deputy Manager _ Process Quality

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Develop and implement quality plans for NPD projects and production.
• Expertise in Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics, initiate corrective actions.
• Expertise in handling customer quality requirements, complaints, and audits.
• Provide timely resolution for quality issues and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Lead and mentor quality engineers and inspectors.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for quality improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and analyse process parameters to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Expertise in identifying non-conformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update quality documentation such as control plans, quality check points, inspection reports, and work instructions.
• Train operators and inspectors on quality standards and inspection techniques.
• Expertise in internal and external audits (AS9100, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer audits).
• Expertise in tools like 7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis for problem-solving.
• Expertise in FAI, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.

Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
• 1214 years of experience in in-process quality / NPD in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100 or other relevant quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (especially for electronics manufacturing).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Must have:

• Leadership and team management.
• Customer focus and relationship management.
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Expertise to FAI / PPAP documentation and APQP processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, and quality tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, Ability to work CFT.

Good to have:

• Owner ship and Responsible in the assigned activity.
• Exposure to wiring harness or EMS industry.
• Prior experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) or automotive industry.
• Experience in Wiring harness conveyor manufacturer line.
