Deputy General Manager, Process Engineering

As a Process Engineer, your role involves leading investigations and root cause analysis of OS&D events to ensure timely closure of deviations and effective implementation of CAPAs. You will drive process optimization projects aimed at reducing material variances, overages, and production losses across facilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including QA, QC, SCM, Manufacturing, and Engineering is essential to improve systems for material handling, storage, and reconciliation. Your responsibilities will also include establishing metrics and dashboards to track OS&D trends and performance improvement. Implementing risk assessment tools such as FMEA and RCA will be crucial in proactively mitigating process risks. Coordinating with Quality and Compliance teams to support regulatory inspections and audits is a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership for scale-up and tech transfer processes, ensuring seamless transition and minimal material loss. Training and mentoring process engineering teams to enhance technical capabilities and problem-solving skills will be part of your responsibilities. Partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders for the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to enhance process efficiency is also a key aspect of the role. Ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance regulations related to pharmaceutical manufacturing is a critical responsibility that you will be entrusted with.,
