Is a leading name in the automotive component manufacturing industry, dedicated to producing high-quality products for various automotive applications. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced production Head to lead our manufacturing operations and drive excellence in production processes. Job Responsibilities:- 1. Strategic Planning: - Develop and implement production strategies aligned with company objectives to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure quality standards. 2. Production Management: - Oversee the entire production process, from raw material procurement to product delivery, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications. 3. Team improvement: - Continuously assess production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and costeffectiveness. Implement measures to enhance process reliability and reduce waste. 4. Quality Assurance: - Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet industry standards and customer requirements. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address quality issues. 5. Resource allocation: - Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands while minimizing downtime and maximizing resource utilization. 6. Health and Safety Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment. Implement measures to promote a safe working culture and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries. 7. Supplier Management: - Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage relationships with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components required for production. 8. Continuous Improvement: - Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the production department, encouraging innovation and fostering employee involvement in problem-solving and process optimization initiatives. 9. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Establish KPIs to measure production performance and regularly monitor and report on production metrics to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Qualifications and Experience:- • Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field, advanced degree preferred. • 12 To 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on auto component manufacturing. • Proven track record of leadership in a production environment, with experience managing large teams and driving operational excellence. • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and senior management. • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software tools. • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards. • Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
