Manager Development will play a critical role in overseeing the development processes within the company. This includes managing the complete lifecycle of product development, from concept to production, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and have extensive experience in leading development teams in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage the Development department, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Develop and implement strategies for product development that align with market trends and customer needs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Product Development: Oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept through to production launch. Ensure that all development activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, quality, and production, to ensure seamless product development. Process Management: Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency. Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the development process. Monitor and control project timelines, budgets, and resources. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the highest quality standards before they reach the customer. Implement quality control processes and procedures to prevent defects and ensure product reliability. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all development-related matters with customers and stakeholders. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into actionable development plans. Team Development: Mentor and develop the skills of team members, fostering an environment of growth and professional development. Recruit, train, and retain top talent within the Development department. Key Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 08 to 12 years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the automotive industry. In-depth knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and development cycles. Proven track record of managing complex development projects from concept to completion. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949.
