Deputy General Manager / General Manager - Service

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive service strategy aligned with the company's business goals, focusing on enhancing customer experience, reducing total cost of ownership, and extending product service life. Your role will involve creating and executing service business plans, allocating resources efficiently, monitoring performance metrics, and continuously improving service performance. Additionally, you will oversee the digitalization of service processes and offerings and manage operations related to product lifecycle and support. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a comprehensive service strategy aligned with business goals - Create long-term, medium-term, and short-term service business plans - Plan, budget, and allocate resources for field service - Drive achievement of business key performance indicators and annual service objectives - Oversee repair facility management and technical modernization initiatives - Develop plans and strategies for service activities across various segments - Lead development and negotiation of service offers and manage service contracts - Implement digitalization of service processes and offerings - Manage product lifecycle and operations support - Promote adoption of Annual Maintenance Contracts and Annual Rate Contract - Conduct training programs for associates, channel partners, and customers - Streamline processes and automate customer touchpoints - Implement effective inventory management practices - Develop spare parts stocking strategy with assortment management - Conduct industry benchmarking and analysis - Represent the Service department in industry forums and conferences - Build strong relationships with key customers - Drive special service initiatives involving high financial involvement - Collaborate with global teams to deploy global service initiatives locally - Gather market intelligence and insights for pricing strategies - Continuous expansion of service network and development of service portfolios - Monitor customer complaints and ensure timely resolution - Handle warranty processes and audits for compliance - Lead and develop the team with clear performance goals and talent management strategies - Implement upskilling and reskilling initiatives for team members - Manage service teams and drive initiatives for a Great Place to Work status Qualifications: - Qualification: B.Tech / B.E.
