Deputy General Manager- Electrical Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical maintenance department, overseeing all maintenance activities related to electrical systems within the Thermal Power Generation plant.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize the performance and reliability of electrical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address electrical issues proactively, minimizing downtime and ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize impact on plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage the department budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the department.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to procure equipment, parts, and services necessary for electrical maintenance activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions for improving electrical systems.
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Thermal Power Generation industry.
• Proven track record of leading electrical maintenance teams and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Experience in overseeing maintenance activities, resolving electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
