Deputy General Manager - Cyber Security

As a Cyber Security Deputy General Manager for the AMIEO region in India at grade EVP-5 (DGM), your role is crucial within the Information & Cyber Security team. You will serve as a liaison between regional Security teams and technology-focused analysts, engineers, and administrators in the AMIO IT organization. Your responsibilities include translating IT-risk requirements into technical control specifications, developing metrics for performance measurement, coordinating technical activities for security infrastructure management, and providing regular status reports to management. Key Responsibilities: - Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure information system security. - Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with global and regional regulations and internal policies. - Incident Response: Lead Incident Response activities within the AMIO region and collaborate with regional IR teams. - Threat Intelligence: Stay informed about the latest threats and vulnerabilities through the regional Threat Intelligence service to proactively protect the organization. - Security Architecture: Design and maintain a robust security infrastructure aligned with organizational goals and standards. - Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with regional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure cohesive security measures. Qualifications Required: - Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including SIEM tools, encryption methods, vulnerability management, identity security, threat intelligence, PKI, cryptography, endpoint security, network security, and identity & access management. - Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, provide guidance, and foster a culture of security awareness. Also, lead and manage a service provider. - Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions. - Project Management: Manage security projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely completion within budget. - Communication Skills: Clearly convey security policies and procedures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in cybersecurity to proactively address potential threats.
