Deputy General Manager Commercial

Role & responsibilities

• Commercial Operations Management: Oversee and manage all commercial activities at the factory level, including the smooth execution of product dispatch, accurate billing processes, and timely collections of receivables.
• Cost Control and Profitability: Drive plant profitability by monitoring and controlling operational costs, managing expenses, and identifying opportunities to optimize financial performance.
• Vendor and Contract Management: Manage relationships with contractors and vendors, negotiate and manage commercial contracts, and ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant statutory and tax regulations (e.g., GST, E-Invoicing) and manage audits related to commercial operations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Production, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality to align commercial goals with operational objectives.
• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all commercial transactions, including dispatches and billing, and provide regular reports on performance to management.
