 Deputy Area Manager - Debt Management Services - The Wheels 
 Job Purpose 
Achieve targets across various assigned parameters. Oversee Car Finance business while maintaining compliance. Handle partners and agencies.  Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Achieve collection targets by visiting customers and agencies.
  • Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates and guidelines.
  • Review and track milestones.
  • Ensure legal guidelines are complied with during product repossession.
  • Travel with Recovery Officers (RO's) as required.
  • Timely allocation of cases among team members.
  • Proficient in Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Daily tracking of team members' performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
  • Manage Daily Risk Report (DRR) activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Counsel and groom direct reportees to enhance and develop skill sets.
  • Manage a team of collection officers to achieve overall targets.
  • Rectify issues encountered during the collection process.
  • Manage average collection reports to monitor and improve performance.
  • Oversee legal recovery for Urban NPL (Non-Performing Loans) Wheels (Vehicle Finance), including repossession and legal management.
  • Manage litigation and case management processes.
  • Ensure compliance and risk mitigation measures are followed.
  • Oversee reporting and documentation.

  •  Required Qualifications and Experience 
  • Experience in achieving collection targets by visiting customers and agencies.
  • Ability to monitor performance metrics and provide effective guidelines to team members.
  • Experience in milestone review and tracking.
  • Understanding of legal compliance in repossession processes.
  • Willingness to travel with field teams as needed.
  • Experience in case allocation and team management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and daily performance tracking.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Strong escalation management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in daily risk report management.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
  • Experience in counseling and developing team members' professional skills.
  • Proven team leadership to achieve collection targets.
  • Experience in managing and rectifying collection process issues.
  • Knowledge of legal recovery, repossession, litigation, case management, compliance, and risk mitigation in the vehicle finance sector.
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.
