Job Description

Deputy Area Manager - Debt Management Services - The Wheels
Job Purpose
Achieve assigned targets across various parameters. Oversee the Car Finance business while maintaining compliance. Handle relationships with partners and agencies. Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve collections targets by visiting customers and agencies.

Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.

Ensure legal guidelines are complied with during product repossession.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.

Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.

Manage Daily Risk Report (DRR).

Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.

Track cases individually.

Ensure resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines.

Portfolio management and debt collection strategy implementation.

Achieve targets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reporting and analysis of collection activities.

Risk management and mitigation.

Provide team leadership and oversee vendor management.

Coordinate with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in collections, preferably in car finance or related sectors.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and legal guidelines in debt collection.

Experience in portfolio management and implementing debt collection strategies.

Ability to achieve targets and manage risk effectively.

Demonstrated leadership, vendor management, and client coordination skills.

Excellent reporting, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
