Deployment Manager (Azure)

• Customarily has at least 12-15 years of customer facing project management or client engagement experience
• Customarily has at least 10-12 years of technical experience
• Customarily has at least 5 years of position specific experience
• Previous supervisory experience within an MSP

Experience within a service provider service model and leverage multi-tenant toolsets for ongoing deployment and administration frameworks

• Experience installing and configuring various operating systems including Microsoft Window Server, and Linux/UNIX, preferred
• Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues including system level and integration level testing preferred
• Experience supporting vendors like Nimble, EMC, Dell, HP, VMware, Fortinet, Meraki, etc. preferred
• Experience with VPN technologies, configuration and troubleshooting preferred
• Network design experience, including procurement and implementation of network equipment preferred
• Expert level experience with automated testing products, including how to set up automated testing, how to script automated tests, how to create automated regression test suites, and how to troubleshoot automated testing issues preferred
• Lead day-day operations of Deployment team including coaching, conducting 1-1 and staff meetings, facilitating communication to drive resolution in a transparent and constructive manner.
• Establishing departmental goals and objectives, monitoring for compliance.
• Manage Synopteks deployment activities for all products and services. Drive to completion deployment activities enabling revenue generation of deployed product or service
• Work collaboratively with other Synoptek departments and team members to meet organization objectives and produce exceptional results
• Help define, implement, and motivate the use of processes between deployment and support team as it relates to handing off of completed deployments to the support team
• Assist with professional services projects related to servers builds, storage implementation, network implementations, and migrations
• Coordinate with project team on short or long-term projects that require accurate planning and scheduling of your time to meet customer commitment dates
