Department Manager

As a Department Manager at H&M, you play a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Profit goals of the store. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of the Best Customer Experience within your department and the overall store. You are accountable for building and leading the Best Team, focusing on their development, succession planning, talent growth, and structured performance management based on results, values, and leadership principles. Adhering to legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures is essential to meet customer and colleague expectations. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will have Sales Advisors as your direct reports. Your key responsibilities include leading with a vision to enhance the experience for colleagues and customers, evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and supporting their development and training. It is crucial to analyze and monitor Sales & Profit KPIs for your department, ensure Health & Safety, legal compliance, and security alignment with H&M standards and local regulations to safeguard employees and customers. Moreover, you will provide input to the Store Manager and Area Teams on allocation and replenishment to maintain optimal garment levels based on sales trends and competitor landscape insights.
