Job Description

Your role involves effectively driving sales through efficient department operations, customer service delivery, motivation, and retention of store personnel while adhering to company norms. You will align departmental sales plans and quotas with business objectives, manage gross margin, stock on hand, brand mix, and discounts as per strategy. It is important to maintain operational consistency across stores, including merchandise, billing, demos, and inventory through systematic reviews. Your responsibilities also include addressing field requirements with well-thought-out solutions to consistently meet department targets, ensuring the right product and merchandise mix to drive sales effectiveness and brand-family balance. You will be responsible for driving sales, margin, shrink control, cost optimization, and maintaining a healthy P&L for the department. Analyzing store sales performance, taking necessary actions to meet objectives, and leading and motivating the store operations team to achieve sales and efficiency targets are crucial aspects of your role. As part of your role, it is essential to set clear performance goals, track progress, provide feedback, and address performance issues promptly. You will also need to identify and develop successors for critical positions within the department, manage inventory and assortment according to plan, and engage with customers to gather feedback on service and processes for continuous improvement. Your performance will be measured based on key indicators such as Gross Margin, Stock on Hand, Segment & Brand mix, Discount Management, Brand share, Finance metrics, Achieve Nos, Customer Experience, Business Acumen, and Jio Business metrics like activations, recharges, and CAF rejections. **Qualifications Required:** - Graduation/ Post Graduation from a recognized institution. - Experience working under a retail company. - Degree completion certificate is mandatory for application.
