Job Description

Develop, fine-tune, and evaluate large language models (LLMs) for dense captioning tasks, ensuring accurate, context-rich, and semantically meaningful descriptions for images, videos, or multimodal datasets.

Design and implement data pipelines for preprocessing, annotation validation, augmentation, and quality assurance of large-scale multimodal datasets used in training and testing dense captioning models.

Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to translate business or research objectives into scalable LLM-based dense captioning solutions integrated into production systems.

Optimize model performance by experimenting with architectures, prompt engineering, fine-tuning strategies, and evaluation metrics to improve caption relevance, completeness, and contextual depth.

Conduct error analysis, bias detection, and performance monitoring to continuously improve model robustness, fairness, and generalization across diverse datasets and use cases.

Document model behavior, limitations, and workflows while contributing to best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous innovation in LLM-driven dense captioning systems.
