Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Snowflake, StreamSets & Denodo Platform Administrator to support and enhance our enterprise data engineering and analytics platforms. This role demands hands-on expertise in managing large-scale Snowflake data warehouses, StreamSets data pipelines, and the Denodo data virtualization platform, with strong troubleshooting, automation, and monitoring capabilities. The ideal candidate will ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and compliance while working closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Platform Administration & Operations

• Administer and support the Snowflake Data Cloud platform, including user roles, resource monitors, query performance tuning, warehouse management, and data governance policies.


• Deploy, monitor, and maintain StreamSets pipelines in production environments ensuring high availability and performance.


• Design and manage ingestion frameworks using StreamSets Data Collector and Control Hub for structured and semi-structured data sources.


• Install, configure, and administer the Denodo Platform including virtual databases, caching, scheduler jobs, and web services.


• Manage Denodo server clusters, load balancing, high availability setups, and resource management across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).


• Implement job scheduling, alerting, and retry mechanisms to ensure data pipeline reliability and SLA compliance.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Act as the primary point of contact for incident resolution, RCA documentation, and root cause prevention for platform-related issues.


• Monitor system health and job performance using Grafana, CloudWatch, StreamSets dashboards, Denodo Diagnostic & Monitoring Tool, and Snowflake s Query Profile.


• Troubleshoot query performance and data delivery issues across Snowflake, StreamSets, and Denodo platforms.


• Optimize compute and storage costs in Snowflake by identifying inefficiencies in data storage, processing patterns, and query design.

Security, Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to data security standards by managing Snowflake access controls, RBAC, and integration with IAM tools.


• Implement and manage data masking, row-level security, and external data sharing in Snowflake.


• Administer Denodo access controls, data security policies, row-level/column-level security, and user authentication using LDAP/SAML.


• Maintain audit trails and ensure platform compliance with internal and external data governance frameworks.

Integration & Tooling

• Integrate Snowflake, StreamSets, and Denodo with upstream/downstream systems including AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda), Kafka, JDBC/ODBC endpoints, REST APIs, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).


• Enable seamless data movement and transformation through Denodo views, caching strategies, and federated query optimization.


• Support hybrid and multi-cloud data integration strategies using Denodo s data virtualization capabilities.

Support & Collaboration

• Provide L2/L3 support for operational issues across Snowflake, StreamSets, and Denodo platforms; participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.


• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Analytics teams to support new feature rollouts, enhancements, and performance tuning.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives via Jira Kanban boards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor s or master s in computer science, IT, or related field (B.Tech. / MCA preferred).


• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake administration.


• 5+ years experience managing StreamSets pipelines in enterprise-grade environments.


• 2+ years of experience administering and supporting Denodo Data Virtualization Platform in enterprise environments.


• Strong experience with AWS services, especially S3, IAM, Lambda, and EC2.


• Proficient in Denodo VQL, data virtualization best practices, and performance tuning of virtual views.


• Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Git, Grafana, and Denodo Diagnostic Tools.


• Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT best practices, and modern data platform architectures.
