Demand S&OP planner

The ideal candidate for the Band Manager position should hold a qualification in Engineering or MBA in SCM/Operations from a reputed college. With 6 to 8 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for various key tasks: - Identifying demand patterns using statistical methods/AIML based tools and adjusting forecasts to accommodate seasonality, promotions, or market events. - Leading and coordinating the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. - Collaborating with sales, marketing, manufacturing, R&D, and finance teams to gather relevant data and insights. - Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) related to S&OP, such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and customer service levels. - Analyzing and presenting data to support decision-making during S&OP milestones. - Ensuring that sales forecasts and production plans are aligned to avoid overstocking or stockouts. - Identifying potential supply chain bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve overall efficiency. - Supporting new product launches and phasing out products based on demand trends. - Driving initiatives to facilitate SLOB inventory liquidation and building processes to minimize generation. - Collaborating with the finance team to ensure that the S&OP plans align with financial objectives and budget constraints. - Continuously improving the S&OP process to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
