Job Description

You will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic inventory objectives to meet in-stock goals supporting promotional and merchandising programs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Participating in the development, planning, and execution of marketing strategies for assigned product categories - Leading the Supply Chain team to achieve strategic goals within the company and area - Managing and developing direct reports, ensuring their understanding of their roles and effectiveness within the team - Creating an annual inventory budget by product group and location, reflecting store growth, distribution growth, sales, and sourcing initiatives - Managing inventory flow, builds, and exits to meet or exceed inventory turn budgets while supporting stores and customers - Accurately reforecasting inventory levels monthly based on sales and margin trends, promotional activities, new store openings, and other relevant factors - Driving improvement in inventory leverage and supporting sales through strategic initiatives - Coordinating inventory flow plans associated with various merchandising and store operations activities - Leading, supporting, and prioritizing activities of Supply Chain team members to ensure successful product flow and in-stock expectations - Developing and mentoring the extended Supply Chain team as needed - Identifying and leading cross-functional process improvements within the Supply Chain function - Advising on inventory interruptions and substitutions to minimize customer impact - Maintaining relationships with suppliers to improve collaboration within the Supply Chain function - Reporting on the state of the category to senior management using financial analysis and documentation Qualifications required: - Overall 8+ years of experience - 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning & Inventory Management - 4+ years of project management experience - 3+ years of prior leadership experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field - MBA or master's degree in supply chain Skill Set Required: Primary Skills: - Experience in Supply Chain Planning and Optimization - Knowledge of Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Transportation processes and systems - Working knowledge of Merchandising decision-making tools and financial determinations - Experience in Data mining and visualization tools such as PowerBI, SQL, MS Access, and Excel - Excellent writing and communication skills - Experience in leading global operating model teams - Problem-solving abilities to develop strategies and deliver results Secondary Skills (desired): - Experience with JDA Fulfillment, Demand, and Allocation,
