Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery Leadership:
• Plan, execute, and deliver large-scale application development projects on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Team Management:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a large cross-functional team of 100 to 200 members, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Foster a collaborative work environment, driving team performance and engagement.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
• Technical Expertise:
• Oversee application development activities, ensuring best practices, standards, and modern methodologies are followed.
• Provide guidance on technical challenges in Java, .NET, or similar technologies, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously refine delivery processes to improve efficiency, quality, and team productivity.
• Implement metrics-driven approaches to track project progress and address potential risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on application development and delivery management.
• Proven experience managing large teams in a complex, large-scale environment.
• Hands-on experience and expertise in technologies like Java, .NET, or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of application development lifecycles, tools, and frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to mitigating risks and resolving challenges.
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing multi-geography teams and offshore delivery models.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical deliveries with business goals.
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe are a plus.
