Job Description

**

This is a fully remote position in India**

Position Type:

Contract
Remote (100% Remote)

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information System, Business, and other closely related degrees preferred.
5+ years of Business Intelligence experience.
Birst, Tableau, or at least one major BI product preferred.
Experience with at least one programming language or query language.
SQL experience required.
Python experience required.
Experience with Data modeling tools a plus.
Ability to synthesize disparate and complex sources of information and create value-added insight and perspective.
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to effectively interact, and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Attention to detail.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

The role of Manager, Business Intelligence is responsible in overseeing the end to end delivery of BI solutions.
Working closely with IT to understand the underlying data models, which includes understanding the relationships between key tables, attributes, measures, and logical definitions.
Responsible for the data movements among data sources, which include numerous internal databases as well as 3rd parties data sources, to and from BI ecosystems.
Liaising with the onshore BI team and the Analytics teams to understand business requirements, in order to identify and to recommend the best solution to the end users.
Working within BI tools, creating the data architecture and business logics to support reporting, as well as documenting business logics implemented.

Essential Job Functions:

Analyze user requirements and design functional specifications for BI applications.
Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI systems, applications, and programs.
Develop the semantic layer of business intelligence, metadata, reports, and report definitions.
Troubleshoot BI reports and dashboards; performance-tune as necessary.
