Job Description

Safely operate a delivery vehicle (such as a car, van, or motorcycle) to transport goods to customers' locations. Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care to prevent damage. Verify the accuracy of delivery contents against shipping invoices or manifests. Follow established delivery routes and schedules, optimizing efficiency and ensuring timely deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers upon delivery, responding to inquiries, and addressing any concerns or issues. Collect payments, if required, and maintain accurate records of transactions. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and performing delivery duties. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any delivery-related issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and delivery equipment.
