Decision Scientist - Lead

You will work closely with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to perform data analysis, monitoring, and forecasting. Your responsibilities will include creating logic for and implementing strategies, providing requirements to data scientists and technology teams on attribute, model, and platform requirements, and communicating with global stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the best possible customer experience. As a Grade 14 technical expert, you will support management with the analysis, interpretation, and application of complex information, contributing to the achievement of divisional and corporate goals. You will also support or lead projects by applying your expertise in the relevant field. Your main responsibilities will involve leading the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and algorithms, utilizing statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, collaborating with business stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable solutions, designing and conducting experiments to evaluate strategies, mentoring junior team members, and communicating findings to stakeholders through various mediums. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have 4-8 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, with proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or SQL, and experience in statistical analysis tools and libraries. A strong understanding of quantitative methods and experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure, is preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and prior experience in a senior-level role are also desired qualities.
