Dean of University Placement Cell

We're seeking for an innovative & visionary leader to serve as Dean of University Placement Cell. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for higher education and a commitment to student success. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and strategic thinking to the role and will work with faculty, staff, and students to build a dynamic and thriving academic community.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the college
• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support the college's mission and goals
• Ensure the quality of academic programs and support the development of new programs and initiatives
• Promote a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and service
• Manage the college budget and resources, and provide fiscal oversight and accountability
• Represent the college and the university to external constituencies and stakeholders
• Collaborate with other deans, the provost, and other university leaders on initiatives and initiatives affecting the university as a whole

Qualifications & Skills

• Extensive experience in academic & placement service
• Proven track record of effective leadership in higher education
• Strong understanding of accreditation processes and standards
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Successful experience in faculty recruitment and development
• Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative academic environment
• Experience in strategic planning and implementation
• An earned doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant field
• Significant academic administrative experience at the department chair, program director, or higher level
• A strong commitment to the mission of higher education and student success
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
• Proven ability to lead and manage change, build consensus, and promote collaboration
• Demonstrated success in fundraising and resource development
• A record of scholarly accomplishment and a commitment to ongoing professional development
