Role Overview

Dean – Academic Affairs

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Academic Leadership

  Oversee academic governance, drive curriculum innovation, and align institutional goals with NEP (National Education Policy) and NCrF (National Credit Framework).

• Collaborative Coordination

  Foster unity and cooperation across schools by partnering with Deans and Heads of Departments to enhance teaching, research, and administration.

• Quality Assurance & Compliance

  Spearhead accreditation processes and ensure adherence to national education standards and best practices.

• Research & Faculty Development

  Promote a research-driven environment; mentor faculty and PhD scholars; oversee guidance that ensures academic publications and timely PhD completions.

• Institutional Advancement

  Shape policies, mentor academic leadership, and contribute to institutional vision through collegial governance and cross-departmental engagement.

Qualifications & Profile

• Academic Credentials

  PhD in any discipline (excluding Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Pharmacy).

• Experience

• Minimum

  12 years

  in academic leadership.
• At least

  3 years

  in a senior-level role (Director, Principal, or Professor & HOD) at a technical-education institution within a private university.

• Research Impact

• At least

  12 publications

  in peerreviewed or Scopus-indexed journals.
• Successfully guided

  five or more PhD scholars

  to completion.

• Core Competencies

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  
• Deep understanding of NEP and NCrF frameworks.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
