Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. in Engineering in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• Master’s Degree (M.Tech/M.E.) in Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, or leadership roles in reputed universities/institutions.
• Strong academic record with publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and books.
• Proven experience in academic leadership, accreditation, curriculum development, and faculty management.
• Candidates must meet UGC/AICTE norms as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the School/Department of Engineering.
• Plan and implement strategic growth, academic excellence, and research development.
• Oversee curriculum design, updates, and implementation as per industry and academic trends.
• Ensure quality teaching, research, innovation, and student outcomes.
• Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance evaluation, and development programs.
• Promote research culture, funded projects, patents, and industry collaborations.
• Supervise accreditation processes like NAAC, NBA, and NIRF.
• Build strong industry linkages, MoUs, internships, training, and placement support.
• Organize conferences, workshops, FDPs, seminars, and expert lectures.
• Represent the department at university committees, academic councils, and external forums.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• Expertise in academic governance, outcome-based education, and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies and interdisciplinary programs.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to attract research funding, consultancy projects, and industry partnerships.
• Proficiency with academic ERP systems, LMS, and research tools.

Pay Scale

₹80,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
