Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Database Sr. Engineer with expertise in DBT and Snowflake to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of hands-on experience in data platform engineering or data warehouse development.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Create and manage metadata frameworks to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and quality.
Develop and maintain reference data and dimensional data models to support various business processes.
Design and implement ETL processes using tools such as SnapLogic or Informatica.
Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.
Implement and manage DBT for data transformations and workflow optimization.
Optimize the performance of data systems and processes for scalability and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards using platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
Implement data governance practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in Generative AI and explore its applications within data engineering processes.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4-5 years of hands-on experience in data platform engineering or data warehouse development.
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, metadata management, and dimensional modeling.
Proficiency in ETL development using tools like SnapLogic or Informatica.
Advanced Python programming skills for automation and data integration.
Expertise in SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
Experience with DBT for building and maintaining data transformation pipelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and their practical applications is a plus.
