Job Description

Role Summary

MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
SQL and NoSQL databases
.
Write and optimize
complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
.
Perform
performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
.
Work with
PostgreSQL features
such as JSONB, HSTORE, and partitioning.
Handle
database migrations
between MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Ensure
backup, recovery, replication, and high availability
.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate database logic.
Support deployments and database changes via
CI/CD pipelines
.

Primary Skills

Hands-on experience with
PostgreSQL (development & DBA)
.
Good working knowledge of
Microsoft SQL Server
.
Proficiency in
SQL and PL/pgSQL
.
Experience with
MongoDB
schema design, queries, and indexing.
Strong understanding of
performance tuning and indexing strategies
.
Experience with
AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
.
Familiarity with
Linux/Ubuntu CLI
and shell scripting.
Experience with
backup tools
(pg_dump, pg_basebackup, cloud-native tools).

Good to Have

Exposure to
MySQL or Oracle
.
Experience with
pgLoader or AWS DMS
.
Understanding of
RDBMS vs NoSQL use cases
.
