QA Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Manual QA Software Engineer to join our team and ensure the highest quality of our software products. As a Manual QA Software Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating software applications to identify and resolve defects, ensuring that they meet functional and performance requirements. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform manual testing on web applications to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility.

- Execute test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.

- Conduct regression testing to verify that new changes have not introduced issues.

- Identify, document, and report software defects using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected behaviors or potential issues.

Agile Experience:

- Hands-on experience working in agile (Scrum, Kanban) environments, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Test Planning and Documentation:

- Create, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and technical specifications.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand project requirements, features, and user stories.

- Document test results and create detailed bug reports, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs when necessary.
