Job Description

As a Database Administrator at ZZAZZ, you will play a crucial role in managing MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL databases. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL databases with 5-9 years of relevant experience. - Applying data modeling principles across NoSQL and SQL paradigms effectively. - Working with replica sets, indexes, and aggregation pipelines in MongoDB. - Expertise in Elasticsearch cluster management, index lifecycle policies (ILM), and query DSL. - Proficient in PostgreSQL installations, including roles, extensions like PostGIS, pg_stat_statements, and vacuuming strategies. - Utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, or other container platforms for database deployment. - Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform would be beneficial. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Thriving in fast-paced environments and effective time management. Preferred qualifications for this role include: - PostgreSQL certification or equivalent experience. - MongoDB DBA Certification or similar credentials. - Experience with other database technologies like TimescaleDB, Redis, ClickHouse. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
