Database Administrator (DBA)

As a Database Administrator (DBA) in this project, your role will involve ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of the database. You will collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to optimize database systems and troubleshoot issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement new database systems based on project requirements. - Monitor and optimize database performance for quick query response times and efficient operations. - Implement access controls, encryption, and conduct regular audits to ensure database security. - Develop and maintain a backup and recovery strategy to safeguard data integrity. - Diagnose and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime. - Work with project team members to understand and fulfill database requirements. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, policies, and procedures. - Develop SSRS reports for the project. In addition to the above responsibilities, experience working in Dassaults Apriso MES project will be considered an added advantage. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience: Proven 6+ years of experience as a DBA in similar projects with a strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS). - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with DBMS such as Oracle and MySQL. - Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. - Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues. - Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification: DBA certifications from recognized institutions (e.g., Oracle Certified DBA, Microsoft SQL Server Certification). - Advanced Skills: Knowledge in advanced database management tasks like replication, clustering, and partitioning.,
