Role: Database Administrator

Experience: 10-15 Years

Relevant Experience in Database Administrator : 10+ Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Only

Job Location: Pune and Chennai

Role & responsibilities

Database Administrator for Cloud Migration:

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategy: Develop migration plans and strategies for moving databases to the cloud, considering factors like security, performance, and cost.
Assessment: Evaluate existing database infrastructure and identify potential issues or challenges during the migration process.
Migration Execution: Implement and execute migration plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Cloud Database Management: Manage and administer databases in the cloud environment, including tasks like storage, backup, and recovery.

Skills and Experience:

Database Administration: Strong experience in managing and administering Oracle database.
Cloud Computing: Knowledge to cloud platform - AWS and its respective database services.
Migration Tools and Techniques: Familiarity with database migration tools and techniques, such as AWS Database Migration Service, Azure Database Migration Service.
Scripting and Automation: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for database management.
Security: Knowledge of database security best practices, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
