Job Description

You will be responsible for managing SQL Server databases across various lifecycle environments, starting from development to crucial production systems. Your duties will include configuring and maintaining database servers, monitoring system health and performance, and ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security. You should have hands-on experience with Log Shipping, Mirroring, and Replication, along with expertise in data modeling techniques to support integration and performance requirements. In this role, you will independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real time, as well as refine and automate regular processes, document changes, and assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement. Moreover, you will be expected to perform scheduled maintenance, support release deployments after hours, and share your technical knowledge with team members through mentorship and cross-training. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4 years of experience in MS SQL Server Administration. Additionally, you must possess skills in Performance Tuning and Optimization, backups, restores, recovery models, High Availability, Disaster Recovery options for SQL Server, and working with Windows server and Active Directory. Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, the ability to work independently, and adaptability to changing environments are essential for this role. Any relevant certifications such as MCTS, MCITP, or MVP would be advantageous.,
