Database Admin

We are seeking an experienced MySQL database administrator to ensure high performance, availability, and security of MySQL instances. You should also have experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Elastic search. Your responsibilities will include maintenance tasks such as upgrades, fixes, backups, and database instance provisioning. You will have complete ownership of all databases used by our organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, monitoring, upgrading, and maintaining databases in both production and non-production environments. - Providing 24/7 support for failover with High Availability Disaster Recovery environment using MySQL native Replication. - Owning Database Maintenance activities such as profiling server resource usage, optimization, and troubleshooting issues like data corruption, restore, backup, and recovery. - Ensuring the performance, security, and availability of databases. - Documenting procedures to help developers and enforcing them across the organization. - Handling common database procedures like upgrades, backups, recoveries, and migrations. - Coordinating with team members and stakeholders and driving critical updates related to database failover. - Identifying and resolving issues in databases such as Slow Queries, database structure changes, etc. Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a DBA in MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic, or similar technologies. - Strong knowledge of MySQL database management, relational schema definitions, integrity constraints, replication clusters, and log management for quick issue identification. - Understanding of MySQL database fundamentals and query optimization techniques. - Knowledge of NoSQL databases for concurrency, lock performance monitoring, and performance tuning. - Experience with performance tuning concepts like indexing, sharding, partitioning, and data archival. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.,
