Key Responsibilities

1. Data Warehouse Architect, Design & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse architecture.
• Implement robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from multiple sources.

2. Data Integration & Transformation

• Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows for seamless integration.
• Transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready datasets.

3. Database Management

• Monitor and enhance the performance of data warehouse systems.
• Apply best practices for data storage, indexing, and query optimization.

4. Data Governance & Security

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Implement data security, backup, and recovery mechanisms.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment.

6. Documentation & Support

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data systems, ETL processes, and data workflows.
• Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Proven track record in data warehouse engineering or database development.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  and database management systems (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with

  ETL tools

  (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi).
• Proficiency in

  Python

  or

  Java

  for data processing and automation.
• Deep experience with

  AWS services

  particularly Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, and QuickSight with proven ability to design, build, and manage robust data warehouses supporting large-scale analytics and reporting.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Data Management or Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics).
