As a Quality Assurance Engineer at our company, your role will involve ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve processes, and deliver high-quality products to users. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications. - Conduct manual and automated testing to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies. - Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and design testing strategies. - Report, track, and prioritize defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Perform regression, performance, and usability testing to ensure software quality. - Assist in setting up and maintaining testing environments and test data. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve software quality. - Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements. - Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness in testing. - Document test results and provide clear reports for stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools. - Experience in manual testing and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman). - Knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL) is a plus. - Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and mobile application testing (iOS/Android). - QA certifications such as ISTQB or equivalent. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
